Recording Academy Honors Presented by Black Music Collective
Ahead of the 66th Grammy Awards, Gabby Samone joined a star-powered slate of musical artists to honor Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz with the Recording Academy® Global Impact Award at the third annual Recording Academy Honors Presented by the Black Music Collective. Gabby performed her rendition of Nina Simone’s "Four Women," earning the first standing ovation of the night.
Disney's Recital of Remixes
Gabby Samone was tapped by Disney to put her own unique spin on “Go the Distance” from the 1997 Disney classic film, “Hercules.” The song release was part of Disney’s Recital of Remixes’, a music EP series that sees musical talent from different backgrounds and genres reimagine some of Disney’s most beloved classic songs through their unique and diverse musical talents. Gabby also performed the reimagined song LIVE at the D23 Expo - Disney’s bi-annual celebration of “inside-the-magic” experiences.
The Jennifer Hudson Show (Television Debut)
Gabby Samone made her television performance debut on The Jennifer Hudson Show with her soul-stirring rendition of Aretha Franklin's "A Natural Woman." Following the live performance, Gabby sat down with Jennifer Hudson to share her career as a budding artist, personal journey of self-love and aspirations to be a light for her generation. As part of its Artists On The Rise program, Southwest Airlines also surprised Gabby with ten round-trip flights on Southwest to continue to help support her as she rises to new heights.
